One core technology drives our product areas. We publish what we can; specifications and availability are shared directly.

Core technology

Vapor cell

The vapor cell is the core technology underneath our sensors. What it enables — clocks, magnetometers, gyroscopes — follows from how precisely it can be made and characterized. Underneath every area on this page are the same two problems we had to solve for ourselves: the manufacturing and characterization of quantum sensor components, and the volume qualification of quantum sensor components at production quantities.

Laser light crossing a sealed cell of atomic vapour into a detector, whose trace dips at the atomic resonance the sensor measures against.

How to read the drawing

Laser light crosses a sealed cell of atomic vapour and lands on a detector. The trace under it dips at the atomic resonance, and that dip is the reference every sensor on this site measures against. Everything else is engineering around it.

Physics package

An interactive view of the physics package is in development. The illustration that will sit here is being drawn from our own hardware rather than adapted from anything else.
